| Started breeding Black Moscow and Albino Blue Topaz Guppies bought naja grass that said snail free. Cause I had no snails in none of my tanks. Now there are millions do water changes and see egg sacks all over the tank. Figured I would try Assassin snails to see if I can fix the problem. Now I am thinking I may start a new problem. Will they erradicate the pond snails? Do assassins breed just as fast? | |

| I had pond snails, the assassin snails worked them over. I have had no problems with the assassins over breeding. When they have no snails to eat they will eat the food you put in for your fish. I also believe that ramshorn snails will eat pond snails. I have a few tanks that don't have assassin snails,..... but had pond snails. I bought some ramshorns (big mistake)and put in those tanks they no longer have pond snails, just ramshorns. | |

| I love my assassin snails. They are slowly reducing the number of ramshorns in my planted tanks. Don't get my wrong, I love my ramshorns too, but they breed way too much. Right now I'm picking out the blue and red ramshorns and moving them to little breeding tanks. I'm leaving the regular brown ones for the assassins to take care of. | |
