Alright, here's my first tank redecored around a theme. This one is a planted 10G. Call it the 'tectonic ridge':

Here's my second one called 'Indonesian ditch' - its all artificial.

Just got a used 29T w/stand (don't need the stand, oh well) off of CL for $25. Going to be moving my handful of mbunas to it in a couple of weeks. (remember, they are currently in a temporary home of a 20L). I'm going to theme it as a 'Volcanic Rift' - using both artificial and real stuff. But I have to reseal it. Never done this before - do I need to scrape off the old seal first or just layer the new sealant thick over it?

Nice tanks!Yes scrape off all the old seal and clean it really good and then put the new silicone on and let it cure for 24 to 48 hours and then leak test it.Good luck!Show some pics when you get it set up. yes Themed Tanks 772341 usafishbox

Make sure the new silicone is smooth or your fish will pick at it. It could cause leak if they pick too much.

Well, first I should mention that I'm generally more of a natural tank guy, instead of the themes.

However, the way you did yours, is subtle. It's still there, but at the same time, it looks like a fish tank.

Tanks looks great, good job.
