| Hello, I recently purchased WC Tropheus Purple Rainbows and was given several fry as a gift with the purchase. The seller advised there were several Cherry Spots mixed in with the Purple Rainbow fry. My question is......can anyone tell me how to tell the difference? some are darker and some have more pronounced stripes. My guess would be the darker one are the Cherry Spots.....any help? thanks in advance. | |

| You have two of the nicest trops. How many of each do you have? The cherry spots are nice but get agressive when they become of age. I have cherry spots myself and let me tell you, they are beautiful but MEAN!!! The males constanly chase females around and without the rock work in the tank, the females would not have a chance!!! Good decision on seperating them. | |
