Posts : 62 Location : who wants to know? Favorite Fish: : I like all fishies...but if I had to choose my current favorite, it would be Enigmatochromis lucanusii.

| They spawned again! :) I lost the original female so I introduced the male to one of his daughters (kinda gross but these are fish). It took them about eight months but they spawned for the first time! Lots of kiddies. This was the best photo I could get. Whenever I showed up, the male would get upset and would use his body to block the entrance to the cave so I couldn't take anymore photos. Here's the pic...enjoy. Have a good day. :) -duc. | |

| That's great! I've had mine together for about two years and still nothing. And yes ones a male and ones a female. LOL Guess they just don't like each other. | |

My best piece of advice is to try a varied diet. I feed mine cucumbers, peas, and every so often, algae wafers (mine love cucumbers). I was surprised when I saw him guarding fry. I had not seen any activity from them in a while...so hopefully, yours will surprise you sooner rather than later. :) | |

| They do get a varied diet but unfortunatly the female just died so that settles that. lol | |
