| its now about the size of a silver dollar. I thought it might be a Grandis paly at 1st but I see now its not..whatever it is its pliable not hard. I was looking a little closer and saw the nudi hanging out inside this thing the 2nd pic is another one but its all gold in color..any clues? | |

| I got it at a place called Sea Save outside of Baltimore. this rock is really full of life but not all would be safe for your reef thats why I am leaving the 130 the way it is and just watch what happens. I might have to go get another piece or two:) I love surprises, its becoming more fun than watching the other tanks! | |

| I love the surprises too! I actually have something growing in mine that I was going to post some pics of but my camera battery died before I got the uploaded and I don't have the charger here at work. Tomorrow it will have to be then! LOL | |

| it looks like brown plating algae or "mermaid's fan" you can look up Padina sp. | |

| yea i believe so.. never had it first hand but i read it can be quite invasive under the right conditions but that goes with all algae lol go figure. it is pretty darn cool though, looks kinda like a montipora | |
