| Well, guess the 2 50% water changes last week triggered them. Been having to stop the end-of-the-year Chem reviews for a 'biology moment' and explain why the pair of fish are 'dancing circles'. No eggs yet - perhaps by monday.
If any of the fry survive, I know an Ecology teacher down the hall with a fairly empty 75G that could use some... | |

| Looks like the male is a bluegill and the female is a green. The other two smaller sunfish he's chased to the other side of the tank appear to be a smaller female green and male green by their behaviors (smaller female is starting to swim here and there at a 45 degree angle)
These are most likely all hybrids already since they were purchased from a pond stocking company. Just suitable for tanks and then the frying pan. | |
