I Have a machine that will nearly instantly water log/sterilize any piece of wood that i can fit into it. would anyone ever have a need for such a service?

| If it will end up being helpful to more people than myself and friends, I will devote some more resources into its development | |

| I have a piece of wood I have had in a water trough now since January, and it is not quite waterlogged yet (almost ready to give up), and I have one in a tank that is being held down with rocks, lol. If you were to get it fixed, I would be willing to drive up to ya :-) | |

| well i'll tell ya what, I just did a test on my machine. I went and found the driest oak log i could find and i had it sinking in 3 minutes =)
what size stick is it? I'm planning on making accommodations for larger pieces

| its aproximately 2ft by 1ft by 1ft.... the only tank I have it will fit in (once its logged) is my 275, lol and other one (the one being held down by rocks) is about 1ft by 18in by 12in. The monster piece is the one in a water trough, and its out at a friends stables as I dont have anything big enough to soak it in, lol. | |

| interesting, well I have built a small tank for doing this in, as proof of concept. I'm working on a larger setup. lemme see what I can come up with. my tank is round about 18 inches by 18 inches deep currently pretty much anything you can fit in there can be done atm.
Im probably going to end up making a much larger setup if this turns out to be in demand. I already have it planned out.
If you want something done Ill be more than happy to help out tho

| Thank you, I have never taken a tape measure to it, but that is just an estimation of it's size. I do plan to go back out there this coming weekend, and will try to remember to take a measuring tape with me. | |

| If anyone wants me to keep developing this technology let me know. It will cost a little bit of money so Im not going to up scale it if only for myself.

| today I went and cut a cool branch off of an oak tree. I then put it in my machine and 5 minutes later It was sitting on the bottom of the tank completely dark brown. I didn't even de-bark it. just sprayed it off... I like the natural look myself. my tank looks like a pond.
I would explain the whole process but Im thinking about getting a pattend on this idea.
either way I would be more than happy to help anyone with they're projects.

| hmm i'm guessing large vacuum chamber with wood under water? I've seen strong vacuum domes used in the jewelry business that could "boil" water when actually it's pulling out disolved gases. This strong vacuum could pull out air from the wood, and if submerged under water once the vacuum is released, water would be sucked into the wood.
your idea(whatever the machine may be) would be a good idea to patent your machine, the madmaxinator2011.
if my guess isn't your idea then i should patent mine LOL
