| Tiger Hillstream Loach, i looks like a skate one might find in the ocean, but miniature and freshwater. heck pleco enthusiasts would prolly like these too for form and function cuz they are primarily algae eaters | |

| Very unusal loach. Comes from very fast moving streams and climbs up rocks to get to next level. Also climbs waterfalls. Really hard to catch because it just climbs up the glass out of the water. You need to post a picture of it on the glass to show the underside. | |

| My 3 hillstream loaches are setup in a 33 long stream style tank. 2 powerheads at one end with 2 sponge filters at the other with pvc piping ran underneath the substrate. Pretty strong current in the tank. I also have 3 clown loaches with them and 2 bristlenose plecos. There a few guppies mixed in the tank for some reason. Also a random tadpole in the mix. I do not have a lid on the tank at all and havent had a problem. All kinds of driftwood, rocks, and live plants mixed through the tank. | |

| I got 3 of them last year, they didn't do well at eating algae, they did eat it but nowhere near as fast as BNP's. They definately have the "awe" factor though, nice looking fish but been there done that, next! | |

| We started out with 4 in a 50 long and no current other than that caused by filter and air stone. They are in with Albino Pepper Cory , Guppies , Some Kribs and a couple Apisto's. Now we have 6 !! No , we didn't add any. We have a 6 foot long tank we are setting up as a stream system now. They will soon be in there with BN's , Cory , and Gold Nugget Pleco. We also feed them Flake food , pellets , and frozen blood worms . Ray | |

| That's about the coolest looking loach I've seen. Reminds me a lot of a Pleco. I personally like Plecos better. An L25 Pleco is one of the rarest and coolest looking freshwater fish you can buy. You should check those out! | |
