office 'bowl'

I was at the pet store getting some stuff this weekend and I saw this Waterfall Globe kit and thought it would be perfect in my office at work. It is 1.8 gallons filtered with a small Whisper filter and has a LED light fixture above it. It is not heated but room temp in my office is around 70-72. I am debating about what I can put in it and I may remove the plant with the flower to allow more swimming room. But I set it up on my lunch break today...cute huh?

Well take out all the plants and you could put a betta in it. If you really want a plant in it with the Betta get a small broad leaf silk plant. They like to rest there fins on them like they are sitting in a hammock. No plastic plants for Bettas. It tares there fins all up. Don't forget that even with a filter you will have to do at least a 50% water change weekly. You can get the Natural Spring water at your grocery store and then you don't have to bother with treating the water with anything. It comes in 2.5g jugs.
