Saw a tank of fish identical to the one on the left in this picture. They are being sold as Jack Demspeys. What are they really?

No Texas Cichlid I've seen look like that. Not even the ones in the wild. Comal River. They look like JDs.

I used to breed jacks and the young would look like either one of these fish. I don't think they are hybrid.
