Hi!, New Guy


I found this site on Craigslist and thought it might be fun to join! After looking around on the forums this site seems great! I am a young fish keeper but I want to know a lot about fish and good fish keeping. Currently I have a 1 set-up aquarium, a 5 gallon which has 2 guppies. I also have a 55 gallon aquarium which I'm working on, but it will be a while until its ready for fish. I plan on searching the boards a lot, especially for DIY projects.

For my 55 gallon, does anyone know a lot about Christmas Fulu (Xystichromis phytophagus) ,Yellow Labs (Labidochromis caeruleus) or Haplochromis nyererei
? I adore the colors on all three and I'm wondering if you think they would get along/ live happily together.

Hello and welcome to the box. I've been doing SA Cichlids for a long time an d just getting in Africans so I can not answer your questions but I'm sure someone will chime in. You may want to start a thread on your question under the African Cichlid section.
