| I've seen planted tanks with a CO2 tank, and they release a bubble a second through a tube for the plants. Could you have an oxygen bottle and do the same(bubble a second)? And do you think it would be a good idea and healthy for fish? Just wondering | |

| an airstone is all you need. Too much O2 you'll never keep CO2 in the water. |

| your water gets most of its oxygen through surface movement or the flow of the water. so i guess this could work somewhat but i think it would not be as smart $$$ wise. | |

| Some fish farms use that method so they can get away with overstocking. But all in all it is very unnecessary |

| you can google adding hydrogen peroxide to water....it turns into oxygen http://www.malawicichlidhomepage.com/aquainfo/algae_peroxide.html http://www.fishforums.com/forum/general-freshwater/13028-hydrogen-peroxide-kill-bba.html if you read these and other articles, you will find that it does add O2....but be careful...too much can be harmful to the fish. Normally O2 enters the water through surface movement of the water. | |
