| Nothing up in this area outside of Petco and Petsmart. Which usually have the standard generic gravel stuffs.
Just curious if of the LFS's in other peoples areas have a better selection.

| Will say for the new not so lfs he has a huge selection of substrates, best in 60 mile radius literally anything you need for fresh, salt or planted. And if by chance he doesn't have what your looking for he's very willing to order for you. | |

| Animal Jungle has the most of any place I have seen around the VA Beach area. fluorite substrate is the main one they can every color and even the sand blends. Bunch of saltwater stuff and some other brands. Only down side is they don't stock this but maybe once a month so you have to hit it just right. Pet stores all carry the eco complete cichlid and regular blend.

| Very seldom do I go to LFS and if I do I never look at subst. Pea gravel or sand from Lowes is all I use. |

| The Petsmart in our area has the best selection. Everything from live sand for SW, to FloraMax for planted tanks. Sand, small pea gravel, and larger river gravel size. Wide variety of colors as well.
Don't know why your PetSmart has such a pathetic selection. Ours (Bellevue, TN) has a better selection than ever Aquatic Critter (which is the top store for fish varieties in the mid-state)

| Just the common aqurium gavel, that's 4 pet stores in 2 ciities. Even the PetSmart. If you were to buy a 30gal tank, Petsmart wouldn't have enough of any one substrate to cover the bottom. | |
