New from Riverside California

Hello USA FB!

New member, found you on craigslist, and I'm looking forward to the next socal meeting :)


I've been keeping fish ever since I was 7 years old, thanks to my cousins keeping reef tanks and large fancy goldfish.

Currently I keep a 40g breeding tank for marbled crayfish (self cloning marmokreb),

I have a 60g planted tank with various types of philippine blue angelfish, delhezi polypterus, senegal polypterus, and ropefish,

and I just recently setup a 30g planted with showa swordtails, platies, and a trio of dwarf puffers.

Looking forward to seeing pics of your setups and meeting more local people in the hobby.

Thanks for the welcome Jesse! Between all my plants, livebearers and the crays, I should be able to bring some interesting stuff to swap or give away :)

we all will have something nice i will keep you posted on when and where it will be... if you noticed in the middle of the page there is a so cal chapter thread thats where things will be posted about the meeting if you dont see it on the board it will be there i

Cool yeah I saw the list you posted. I've always wanted to join a fish club,so thanks for organizing our SoCal chapter :)

A little late but....

haha no worries, just finished my first full day in the fish box!

I broke the rules, jumped into the chatroom for a bit, posted pics, and met some cool peeps.

It would be better to hang around here then LVMyPuff, since I will update the other tanks on FishBox more than on dwarfpuffers.com

Once I rearrange my plants, I'm going to post pics of my 60g and mah fishez from that tank.

My only other tank is the cloning crayfish tank. It's pretty boring, just black lace crock, and hiding crayfish and hiding albino brichardi cichlids lol


I really like your DP tank, you should post an update.

I want to see it after a water change so there are no tannins in the water. My penang/malaysia driftwood still leaches a lot of color. I like the look but I don't think my plants like it.
