| Looks good! Better than most of mine Corys do much better with sand and so do plants. I see 3 female corys in there, the first, 3rd and 4th pic are females just so you know |

| You could remove half of that gravel and give the fish more room to swim. That would be a start. Also, the cories will get barbell erosion from the gravel. May want to think about a sand substrate. | |

| i just got a complete 14 gallon setup tonight for only 40 BUCKS :), im gunna put bamboo in it. any ideas on the fish i should put in? and ill prolly take some gravel out of my 29 gallon anyways to put in it. | |

| The gravel will help seed the tank with beneficial bacteria. In that size tank, you really don't have a ton of options. Smaller community fish would be good. | |

| yeah, i talked to a guy earlier bout getting the white crystal sand from home depot. maybe ill just go check it out tomorrow. what else can i do to speed up the process? | |

| Take a small sample of the gravel and put it in a cut off piece of pantyhose and hang it in the tank. That will see it the same while having the sand in the bottom. Once you've successfully added fish and finished your cycle, you can remove the bag of gravel. | |

| You could add 1-2 fish right away and then add slowly (1 per 1-2 weeks) after that | |
