My 10 gallon

here is a pic of my first and only tank so far and some of my snails. I don't know why, but i love the snails, lol. I have 4 fancy guppies, 1 platy, and 4 mystery snails.

Thanks Fern. I love just watching my fish swim around and listening to the water, it is relaxing to me. I recently quit somethin else that used to relax me and this has really help me quit. I just can't wait to get a bigger tank so i can get the kind of fish that require more room.

Watch craigslist, I have gotten some wicked deals on there!

I hear ya! I'm over 3 years sober myself and now I'm addicted to fish! They are healthier for you but sometimes end up costing more

Thanks Bernie, I wish I had room for a 55 g. I have seen a lot of great deals on Craigslist, but sadly I'm limited on room. I am looking to build a rack to hold my 10g and I want to do a 29 next to go on the rack. I also want to do some research on making a small pond in my backyard. What LFS do you frequent here in town?

I just bought a 29 gallon tank at petco and now I want a 55 gallon. I still havent put any water in it and I'm wanting to change it I'm still learning acronyms and have no idea what LFS means but if its anything to do with fish I haven't bought anything yet so none. I do however like the tanks at Forever pets on San Pedro and Basse. They have a whole 75 gallon tank setup with stand hood, lights and other things for $379.00, and they even have a layaway option so I'm thinking of selling my 29 tank or returning it and putting that 75 on layaway.

You should try Fintique on West Ave. between I 10 and Hildebrand. They have a big selection of fish and they are very helpful and knowledgeable. They also have some good prices on starter kits in all sizes of tanks.

hmm ... thats down the street and I've never heard of it. I will def check it out today since today is payday Still cant beat the price of the other setup at forever pets though. I guess I'll look around and see what i find. I'm willing to be patient and see the rewards in the end

yes i do love reptiles, but i must admit I'm really liking my aquatic critters too. I've been spending more time on them lately. Fintique also has crickets at .69 a dozen, which is the cheapest I've found to feed my inverts and geckos. I'm getting a roach colony tonight though so i wont have to buy crickets anymore. What kind of tarantula do you have?

I have a rose haired tarantula have had it for 5 years and OMG my father in law told me about a store on west ave that sold them for 0.69. Good to know I finally found it Thanks to you.
