can anyone give me a list of stuff i'd need for a 29 gallon saltwater tank? I've never done saltwater before and I wanted another 55 but the wife wouldn't allow it so I'm thinking a smaller setup...

You'll need a power head, heater, protein skimmer (although mine never collected anything), refractometer, live rock/sand, salt and RO water or unit.

| rchan.... my protein skimmer, never gets anything either, it's cuz you have a good filter... then the tanks gets super dirt, the skimmer acts as a back up filter. Mine only works when i get lazy and the tank is dirty. then it starts collecting stuff. | |
