This has been in my tank for awhile, and it just now occurred to me to perhaps try to figure out what it is... So, any ideas?

looks like bubble algae ?valonia?

not goodfor tank, although shiny... will have to be careful to remove. its said that if you pop it, it releases its fluid and spread out even more...

I have a few, I just leave em B. If the spores are released, they will grow all over your tank. They're not harmful to coral. You can ask my shrooms.

I used a syringe and drained the fluid from them when I had them in my reef.
