| 2 X 5-5.5 inch wild caught tefe green discus $55.00 each 1 - 4 inch red turquoise $40.00 1 - 3 inch red turquoise $30.00 1- 1.5 inch blue diamond $15.00 2- 1.5 inch red/blue turquoise $15.00 each 1- 1.5 inch yellow pigeon blood with a little "pepper" $15.00 $240.00 total for the discus - that amounts to $10.00 a fish you won't find those deals at lfs, my discus came from breeders and hobbiest which is even better then going to a LFS I might cut a deal if someone buys all of them.

nope fx5 won't work on saltwater tanks, selling so I can buy a skimmer, sump, and return pump. don't have the plecos any more, leon got them earlier tonight. I can hold the cory catfish, bumble bee catifish, and silver dollars. when can you come pick the fish up. remember I'm home basicly 24/7

| What canisters were they using? The Fx5 is specifically made for fresh and saltwater use. Check out their website...or read the manual. | |

| it is used just for extra filteration, it won't work as a skimmer. it can be used for salt but will over time break down. | |

| Wish I had the room, I just bought a 3 in red turquoise, and had to set up another tank to "grow up" the 1.5 inch cobalt blue and snakeskin blue discus I bought a week later. I'm going against my will here passing this oppertunity up. . . but if you give me a couple of days I'll figure out some way to rationalize it | |

yeah, isn't Florida where fiji rock comes from? LFS here want 6.99-8.99 a pound. I would need 100-125 lbs right if I got a 125 gallon.

| Joey are you setting up at Saltwater tank b/c Jay told you it was a good idea? He is only doing that so you can buy fish from him. Don't go broke over setting up a SW tank it's not worth it. | |

| no he didn't tell me it would be a good idea. I finely got bored and wanted a saltwater tank. the only cash I've had to spend was 50 dollars to buy the over flow boxes and hoses.
traded the fx5 for the sump and skimmer, sold the discus I had to buy the koralinia 3 and 4 power heads I needed. traded the skimmer off the 55 and 3 or 4 damsels for 100lbs of live sand. my dad bought me the salt. jay gave me the return pump and bought me dinner one night for going out to frisco to get him 2 korlinia 3s he needed well I picked up the korlinia 3 and 4 I needed. then my sister gave me the money so I could buy the skimmer pump from ron a friend of mine who salts aquariums, supplies, and fish. then I spent 10 on a hydro-meter. oh and I traded the 55g for 160lbs of base rock.
so then only money I spend was 50-75 dollars, and 25-35(one tank of gas) to go back and forth getting this stuff.
