I've been watching my ghost shrimp getting bigger and bigger - several appear to be carrying eggs. Since I've done well with them, I added 5 bamboo shrimp (4 made it). The Ghosts are much more curious than the Bamboo - who hid so well for the first month I rarely saw them!

Bamboos are now getting braver and I'm debating on removing all of the guppies so that they and the three remaining snails can successfully reproduce. The shrimp do make things interesting in the 10G.

An all invert tank is actually pretty nice. I have several of them.

I believe all Bamboo/Wood/Fan Shrimp are wild caught, as they are next to impossible to breed in captivity. They're not like regular shrimp which hatch a miniatures of their parents. Bamboo Shrimp hatch as larvae, which require salt water to survive. Keep us informed as to how your breeding experiment is going.

Do the Bamboo's require more salt than normal is for freshwater? I'm not having the best of luck with them.
