| nice tang!! what i love even more is that it only maxxes out at 3.5" thats awsome that hopfully means that they can be kept in smaller 4ft tanks. which would also benefit the sale of this fish! and the spread of them in the hobby
but i have to say that 1000$(even though its not even a real price for this fish yet) for this fish is a rediculous price!! i mean im sure some ppl out their will have money to buy it but their would be more ppl who wouldnt just becuz 1000$ for a 3" fish sounds stupid to me. and iv done some pretty stupid things LOL but im sure their will end up beeing some captive bred PRT's for sale at regular powder blue tang prices. (later on) | |

| Nice fish! Price is always regulated by supply and demand, if there very limited and lots of people want them a very high price isn't unreasonable. If there are lots of them and not a big demand they will be as cheap as any other fish caught in the same manner. .... sorry for the economics ramble there  |

| i would have to agree, the black tangs and pineapple fish can go for 500 and 800, the FIRST handful to hit the market will be priced way to high. they will eventually come down... probably later then sooner though. | |
