After a bout with bad health,I lost 90% of my shrimp population,I found the left overs a home and went an bought some fish ,wanted something easy to take care of. 5 rasborah het ,5 cherry barbs ,5 neon tetras,2 melanis cory cats, and one betta that thinks he is in heaven with all the room.

I don't know why but the water in my house has something in it that I cannot keep shrimp or crays alive more than a week so I know how you feel. Your betta IS in heaven in that tank I'm sure. I myself would increase the Hets and tetras to at least 10 each. The corys will be much happier in a group of 6 or more. You've done a great job on the tank, looks wonderful.

Well had a bit of good luck, found Cardinal tetras for a buck each at petsmart so I now have ten of them added, planning on at least 4 more of the corys and 5 more hets
