Well this one was pretty simple.

First, Buy some 2x4's and cut them to the measured lengths.
This can be made with only four 2x4's if ya do the math and cut the right pieces from each board.
You'll need: 4 @ 36" - 6 @ 24" - 4 @ 101/2
" - 1 @ 39" - 2 @ 171/2"
And a piece of plywood to fit on top.

Use one of the small ones as a gauge and mark the both ends of the four 36" pcs.

Using 21/2" screws, fasten the 24"pcs to the 36"pcs using the marks you made on the ends.
If you have a speed square or another type of square, use it!

Find the center of the 36"pcs for the other two 24"pcs. You'll have two that look like this.

Lay one flat on the ground and the other on top with the four 101/2"pcs standin up on the four corners like so.
Screw the four corners on one side then flip it over and screw the other side.

The remaining three pcs go around the front and sides on the bottom like so, for stability.

Plywood top cut to overhang 1/2" on the front and sides.
I let the back hangover about 4" for a shelf to put an air pump on.
I also notched it for the cannister hoses.

Put your 30L on it and fill with cichlids ( or some other kind of fish I guess would be OK too )

And of course because I know yall all gonna say something about it not having
nice expensive wood on the outside of it makin it look all pretty,
If ya got the cash ya can close it in and put a door on front, blah, blah, blah!

Looks fine to me DIY 30L Stand 393849
You may want to put a coat or two of urethane on it though so you have a good waterproof seal so you don't have any rot later on. It will be worth it in the long run.... Plus if your anything like me on tank maintenance you will have rot from all the spilled water DIY 30L Stand 393849

heck you might as well add some doors and enclose the rest. Nice stand that could be a nice cabinet. but i do love the open exposed wood look. i guess u could say i have a unfinshed wood fetish. lol. but i would seal like they said. it would be a shame to lose a stand just cause of some water spillage. and if u are like me i spill alot! thank goodness for hoses.

use urethane and do 1 coat wait for it to dry very well. Lightly sand if you like. Do a second coat and your good to go.
You could slap some stain on too if you like but its not necessary.

1 gal can of urethane is $20 that will do all of your stands and more.
