| The HOB's suck, I have one and really don't like it but the canisters are great! Never messed with the in tank filters, I like to keep my electricity outside of the tank.......Gotten zapped one too many times..... |

| If it's a home tank where you can refill it to restart it after a brownout - that's fine. Just imagine your tanks going without filtration over a school break because outside filters didn't restart after a brown-out. Fish wouldn't be doing too well.

| The canisters run through a brownout and if they do shut off they restart. |

| It's ok to vent Jaiko, I calmly informed Alexander Chevrolette's service department that I would NEVER do business with them again after I agreed to spend $100 on a repair so I authorized it - then it rang up to $488. They weren't apologetic over the 'miscommunication' - so I wasn't apologetic about never returning to even consider purchasing another car...
Bad on them - since we'll need two more cars in five years. That's when both our younger kids hit 16!
(Did I fail to mention that I might also not recommend them to everyone I come in contact with? Like the 150+ 15-16 year olds I teach...... LOL) | |

| I wrote and email to them here what i got back
I did review the tapes and talked to the employees. The store was very busy. Two employees stayed on 1/2 hour past their time to go home to help cover the floor. At times like that on a weekend it is sometimes unavoidable that there will be a wait, especially if aquatic salespeople are tied up selling large aquarium packages, as was the case last evening. Saturday is the busiest day of the week. The 2nd girl you spoke with offered to get you what you needed and you refused help. I can understand that you were frustrated for having to wait. We also spoke with the first person that was 'too' busy and he will get a retraining session on how to communicate better and in a more customer friendly way. We appreciate the feedback so that we can improve our customer service. Marc - Beverly's Pet Center

| I use that canister in one of my tanks.... it has more power than any of my other canisters.... but Ive read its because the water kinda bipasses the filter media... and thats a big bummer.... lots of water movement, but its no eheim.... let me know how it performs for you. | |

| So far so good! Its getting all of the monster turds off the bottom so that makes me very very happy! No more netting them out every few days I've never had a clouding issue in that tank so I can't say if its improved the clarity. |

| No just big fat chunks, not stringy like pleco poo but its a bunch of poo! I cant even use a gravel vac to get it out, I either need to use just the hose part or a net to get it out...... big 'ol machines is what they are! |
