| The ever goes between your return pump your return lines. The flow accelerator is almost a restricter it has a smaller hole then your return line to make the water spray out instead of flowing out. It also has a ring the water sprays through witch allows it to pull water in the tank with it so it cane move more water in the tank. I'll post some pics of them tonight when I get home. ( flow accelerator is part of the line lock) | |

| The scwd (wave maker) i have looks like this. Your return pump connects to the bottom and the 2 return lines connect to the right and left sides. As the water flows through it switches back and forth between the two sides causing a wave motion in the tank. The flow accelerators i have look like this one. I have 1 on each side of my tank pointing toward the center of the front of the tank. I get a real nice cross flow when i am not low on water. lol I got both of these from fosterandsmithaquatics.com. flow accelerator: http://www.fosterandsmithaquatics.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=19714 scwd: http://www.fosterandsmithaquatics.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=10668 | |

| You use a piece of tubing to connect it to the pump. The more flow you have the faster it changes sides. For q cheap wave maker it does really good. I had it on my 6ft 120 and it would send water across the entire tank. Yeah the flow accelerators were expencive but worth the money. | |

| I wouldn't. I would run 2 returns with 2 r 3 lr the flow accelerators on each side pointing in different directions to get good movement throughout the tank. That would give u a good cross flow. | |

| It might work, I don't know how well it might work bit its worth a shot to try. I just wouldn't do it. I would suggest running two lines up to the ring instead of one. | |

| I sold it. I didnt have the room for it in my current house. It wasn't a reef ready tank either. I will start a new large ta.k later, when I have a place to put it. | |
