| i was wondering if anybody here has ever used a 3d background if so how much space do they take up and are they hard to keep clean

| I am using one i built me self. If you do it your self it will only take up as much space as you want it to. What size of tank are you wanting to put one in? What style of 3d background are you looking at using? How many and what kind of fish are you planning on putting in the tank? These are some things to think about when you chose your background. As far as cleaning them, that kind of depends on how much detail is in the background and your water parameters. | |

| im putting in a 210g i have malawi cichlids about 35-40 of them not really sure yet on the style just something to look really good in my living room for the wifey and something to make the fish feel more homey | |

| I recommend making one yourself! Only you will know the right dimensions and what you want and like. I made one for my 29 gallon tank and I have it cycling right now. It looks awesome! | |
