| that wont harm my fish. it seems like that will be the only way i can get the concrete to stay sealed onto the styrofoam instead of flaking away unless someone has a suggestion on that | |

| If the concrete is flaking off it might be drying to fast. You should start with a thin pimer coat of concrete followed by 3-4 heavier but still "thin" coats. You should give 24 hours between coats. I have read to spray it with water 3-4 times a day while it is drying to slow down the drying process. | |

| Aquascape.com I believe has step by step and videos. My wife is going to do a 36gl. I'm bad with pics but I'll try to document the progress. Also youtube has videos. | |

| Jesse- I would use stucco color (comes in a small box at home depot) use it on your final coat. After all the rain and snow does not harm it, just make sure you fill and empty you'r tank a few times to reduce the PH. | |

| could always use an expoxy resin to cover the cement, you would have to make sure that the resin was completely dried before placing the background into the tank. | |
