| Does anyone have pictures of female Gallireya Reef and Chailosi? I have 5 of each but it looks like they could all be males and wanted to see what a female might look like? | |

| Thanks, Vman. From those pictures, it looks like all of my Gallireya Reef are male and I have 3 female and 2 male chailosi. I guess I am going to sell 4 of my Gallireya. | |

| Can you post some pics of the LPF Gallireya Reef males. I might take a few if they are smokin' hot males. Mine just killed all his rivals and he's the lone male in the tank. Looking for quality backup males. Here's what mine look like: | |

| Yup...Mr. Cartwright it is VMAN I think the website got LPF Greef mixed up with Mdoka. http://www.lakemalawicichlids.co.uk/web_profiles/malawi%20web/page6248.html The male in the link looks like Mdoka and females too. My Gallireya females looks very much like the male just lighter colored. | |

| Here is a pic of the largest male: The one right after him...Looks the same when he acts up and wants a piece of the action...However, he loses his color once the dominant male kicks his tail...The other three are a little bit smaller and just starting to show their color. They all came from a guy by the name of omacichlids on aquabid. If you have a lot of gallireya females, maybe we can trade. | |

| Yeah I got a colony of 12 from him...There are 3 Males / 9 F and the dominant male killed the other 2. He then spawned with 5 females after. They are behaving like a true Met. Zebra. My WC mosbo deep did the same everytime before spawns. | |

Mdoka looks very close but lack the yellow on the dorsal and body. Their females looks like afra cobue females. Here is one I found in aquabid. http://www.aquabid.com/cgi-bin/auction/auction.cgi?fwcichlidsmmb&1276137014 Here are my female LPF G Reef. | |

| Now I can't tell if I have females or subdominant males. Khrister, the picture of your female looks like what I am calling a subdominant male. Every now and then when that female/male flares up, it has the light blue color of a male. However, when it is being dominated it shows the colors of your female. | |

| That is typical for Mbuna...2nd one might end up female. #rd one looks like a subdominant male. 1st one is flushed can't tell. These are all guess work, I'd vent them if I were you to really tell. How big are they? | |

| Venting is not as easy on some fish as it is on others. It depends on the type of fish. | |

| I have one but he was showing signs of mating with the female in my tank and alfa Ahli nipped alot of his scales off. So i got rid of the female yellow lab and the electric blue ahli and picked up some new smaller breeds. Hope his color will come back, he was one of my favs | |
