| No he is not brackish. He is losing his gills, the spikey things on his head. All that is left is little nubs and he is swimming to the surface for air. Water parameters are fine and the temp is 65. The lady I got him from says he is mostly likely going through metamorphosis. Not sure though. | |

| Depending on the tank mates they could be biting his gills off..... or he could be changing, give him a place to sit near the surface if it looks like he is breathing air. |
