| Wow! Nice start! I'm jealous - LOL! In a year of searching I've only managed to have a single white lab :(... Speaking of which - anyone know where blue labs might be found? | |

| "L. caeruleus was first identified in 1956 by G. Fryer. He described this fish as normally being white, with a black stripe through the dorsal fin, which would become a pale blue cast in breeding males (probably the morph from Nkhata Bay, Malawi). Believe it or not, this species was named caeruleus (meaning "blue" in Latin) for this very reason. It wasn't until around 1980 that this xanthic color variant was discovered by Stuart Grant and his divers. Grant et. al supposedly discovered a small colony of "Electric Yellows" at Lion's Cove, Malawi." -Cichlid-Forum.com | |

| Thanks guys, ya i put her back in the tank friday and man the male was all over her but she is doing good now. Here she is back in the tank: I think that article is referring to white labs, because they get a blue sheen to them, the male was pretty blue when breeding, so maybe this is what you are looking for? | |

| Well it's up to you. I have experience raising them from when they are free swimming so that's not a problem. It's just getting them from your place to mine. But, I live about 5 minutes away if you still live by walmart on the hill.... haha How much would you like for them? | |
