| Saltwater surgeonfish-Tangs. These are the most colorful fish in water. Once acclimated, they well swim on all levels in an aquarium. | |

| I'm torn on this one, have only one species of africans now and have had them for many years just love them they're always entertaining!! They are pretty much tougher than snot, eat pretty much anything offered only gripe is when I have to catch the youngsters out of the tank it has to be basically stripped, water level dropped to 8" and this last time had to divide the tank in half to catch one blankety blank blank (insert colorful words kids were told to go outside for a bit) fish. Then there are my SA's love which tend to be a favorite of mine with more than 1 type / species of them residing in numerous tanks LOL | |

| dojos and cory cats just because....hey I'm a wife/mom and that's a good enough reason, right husbands and kids....LOL
oh thought of reasons....dojos are hardy fish in my opinion and my experience and corys hide my overfeeding habit | |

| i luv my dojo hes neat and i luv my balloon their very personable, they wont follow my bf's finger but only mine. they do alot of funny things my older girl likes to go to my bubble wands rush in and be floated up by them, she likes to rush thro the water fall that my filter does and float where the force takes her she will do it every once in awhile but its very funny seeing her do it. my swordtails r really neat as well but i like my fat little fish blubbering on like there no world that will hurt her. | |

| Fortunately, I run enough tanks to keep some of just about everything. But African cichlids were the fish that got me to move from a single tank household to having lots of tanks. The colors are so vibrant that I'm asked by all non-cichlid keepers if they're saltwater. And they pay as much attention to me as I do to them. I like being watched and followed by fish hahaha | |
