I am new to African Cichlids . I have a 125 gallon tank with two (2) 48" flouresent lights, standard type two pin.

What are the best types of tubes to use? I am thinking about Actinic & a 18K tube ?

Thx.

I say standard aqua-glo. It has a nice spectrum.

Thanks for the input , I have no live plants, so light for them is not important.

The cichlids are very young & small right now, I just want the optimum for color on the fish.

I'm new to forums & posting , so please bear with me.

Where do I update my profile ?

I have an aqua-glo combined with an power glo on all my tanks. They give off an amazing spectrum and your fish and plants really looks healthy and the colors of the fish POP!!!! All my lights are T-8
