I got lucky in my Aquarium club and bid on some RARE Salmon hippo point Victorian cichlids.
one male and two females. They are lake Victorian basin cichlids.. They are neat. the male mostly.. He colored up within 5 min of being in the tank. In the bag, they stress so he looked like the females. Nice to see he likes his new home, a 29gal..

Super nice and at adult size.. the males are always the show stopers.. I guess the girls can't aford maybelline!! LOL..
Not good pics as they were all over the place. I will get better ones later..

Thanks! they are neat.

NOT a problem on fry!! 2 females!! man, I need more tanks!! lol!!

I wil let U know. I have to donate some back to the club as they are going extinct in the wild I am told..

I would like to find ppl to keep them and find new hippo points to breed back to this strain..

Later i need to place some in a 55gal. but that wil be prob this summer..
