I got NEW Fish!!!! Yay!

I had a bad fall at work on Sunday and have had to be off for several days so what better way to occupy my time than to work on my fish tanks... They were looking a little empty so I obviously had no choice but to buy more fish!!!!
I bought:
A breeding pair of Aulonocara baenschi
A Frontosa (probably a Cyphotilapia sp. "North" (Burundi))
My husband wanted an OB Peacock and so in order to keep him happy so that I can continue to get more fish, we got one
A Rubber Lip Pleco
A Black Banded Leporinus (Leporinus fasciatus)
5 Neon Tetras for my 10 gallon Planted tank
2 Peppered Corys for the 10 gallon planted tank

And I added 3 plants to my planted tank! It's been a fun time in between doses of Vicodin and Valium! :)

My reworked Cichlid tank after I put in new rocks and reworked the old ones...

I hope your tank is covered cause Leporinus can fly.

Oh yeah, definitely! But somehow we still lost our last common pleco to a tank jump... I don't think we'll ever know what happened there! He was 3 feet from the tank when the dog found him!

There's no way... the dog's head is so big he couldn't have fit his snout into the tank... the only animal that could have would have been a cat and they were both at my parents house with me when it happened... Still an unsolved mystery!

I took a good fall playing around on my snowboard 4 weeks ago. I have have a hard cast fir another 2 weeks. Yes my fish have been Giving me something to do. When I'm not chasing my baby around.

I'm raising some Cory fry and going to save a fish on Thursday and redo a tank.

So I know what your tanking about. Getting new fish is fun and hope you feel better soon.

I got the plant substrate, Front, ob peacock and breeding pair from the Fish Place near the Ridgmar mall in Fort Worth, they've got a really good selection of several different types of fish... plus we had some store credit to use up! All the other fish (neon tetras, black band, corys, pleco, plants) from the Ridgmar Petsmart. They have some surprisingly nice cichlids, oddly enough...

You may want to change your planted 10g to sand both the plants and corys will do much better.
