Martha is on a hunger strike!

Ok, Martha the flowerhorn is about 2" and in her own 30g tank. I have 2 1" red jewel fry hoping they will help her want to eat. I have tried every readily available food (hichari ciclid pellets, spirulina flake, earthworm flake, frozen beef heart, frozen blood worms, frozen krill, freeze dried krill, shrimp pellets)
The only 2 things she will eat are live bearer fry and live black worms. She has gotten very skinny recently and I am getting quite concerned for her....
She used to eat processed foods but for some reason she just stopped all together. Now she will only eat live foods. Will she be ok on a diet of black worms and live bearer fry to get her fattened up so I can try to get her back on processed foods? How does one get a stubborn fish to eat processed foods when they only eat live foods?
I have never had this issue before! I have even gotten wild caught fish onto processed foods and Martha is tank raised?!?!?!?

My EBJD will only eat bloodworms. She is SUPER picky. She will nibble at other stuff, but won't eat enough to worry about. I have to feed bloodworms or she would shrivel up and die. Sorry to tell ya...

You would think when they get hungry enough they would eat anything but I wouldnt want to risk it. I would keep doing what you are doing.

Her stomach is shrunken back into her body. I need her to keep eating something......

Well she will eat fry and shrimp.... I just put a whole batch of red jewel fry in the tank last night and she is having a blast hunting and eating them...... Hopefully they will last her about a week......

is the ammonia level high? Sometimes that will cause loss of appetite.

Nope it was always 0.... I think shes just stubborn and will only eat live foods.
