| I finally got something other that BN's to spawn. Found 10 eggs kicked out of a cave. I thought the parents were way to young and small to spawn. I had 3 make it. The eggs were a lot bigger than BN's and not as yellow. The fry a huge compared to the BN babies. A male has another female trapped in his cave now so maybe more are on the way. Still waiting on the L129 and L270's. | |

| The female was gone from his cave this morning and he is sitting on a batch of eggs. Can't see how many yet, he was really covering them up. I don't want ot bother him too much so he won't kick them out again. He can do a much better job hatching them than me. | |

| Dad is still fanning his eggs, looks to be 15 or so. They should be hatching any day. The 3 fry from the last batch have almost consumed their yolk sack, I will move them to a tank with some tiny petricola fry in a day or so. They are twice as big at this stage then BN fry, close to 1/2". | |

| Dad kicked them out again, got 3 hatched. I have 6 total now. Next time I am stealing his eggs as soon as I see them. | |

| Cichlid eggs require tumbling, since Pleco eggs are sticky, what are the requirements once you take the eggs? I know the dad fans the eggs; so is there an artificial way to do that? I noticed your picture shows them in a tumbler. | |
