| I currently have a 125 gallon aquarium that has 2 Altolamprologus calvus black "ink fin", 2 Altolamprologus calvus white Chaitika, 2 Altolamprologus compressiceps gold head and one Altolamprologus compressiceps red head. i am curious as to how many i can put into the 125. it has a cascade 150 canister filter. two 350 watt heaters. | |

| General "rule" is 1" per gallon. In my case, because I need to overstock due to aggression, I have 2" per gallon. I'm not familiar with the species of fish you are keeping. . . so I may not be much help. :) | |

If I had what you have. I would add some more Lake Tanganyika. 1 or 2 Frontosa, 10-15 Shell dweller, 10-12 Leleupi, and some calvus. Overstocking and lots of hiding area is good for aggression. Just my opinion.

2'' per gallon is not going to suffocate them? actually im not too sure how many that is but i've seen some crowded up african cichlid tanks and have always wondered if it's fine.
