| Yay!!!! the 20 gallon planted shrimp tank has baby cherry shrimp as of today (well today is the first I have seen them). 1/8 inch long and I can count three if I look real hard on a small piece of driftwood which means probably 10 or more babies total.
Too small for me to get a decent photo of.

| Thank you. It seems that putting the panty hose over the sponge filter where my reverse flow undergravel filtration draws in the water works to keep the shrimplets out of the powerhead impellers or getting stuck in the foam.

| Thank you. As many berried female shrimp I have now I will be having babies for a while.
The batch I posted about is right around 1/4 inch in length and a new batch is 1/8 inch in length. They aren't colored out yet, but will start to color out between 1/2 and 3/4 inch in length.

| They are translucent and just starting to get the red spots. I had to tweek the photo a tad so that you could make out the shrimplets easier. I tweeked the sharpness, white balance, exposure, and color balance by adding some cyan.
