Okay, I have started some of the kiddos in my congregation on fish keeping. 2 months ago I purchase two tank set-ups. Well the fish of choice were betta fish. The Boys tank and betta is doing well. The young lady's betta is struggling to swim mostly ends up on her side what could be going on? I honestly have never had a betta. Help please this Lil girl is devastated

She's bloated from over feeding. A Bettas stomach is only as big as there eyeball. You should only feed three pellets in the morning and three in the evening. Now you'll want to fast her for 4-5 days. Then feed her crushed frozen peas that have been thawed, blanched, and squeezed out of the shell. Crush this up small enough for her to eat. Do this for about a week. Here's the bad part. Some times it work, sometimes it doesn't. Bettas are VERY susceptible to bloat. Good luck.

thank you so much! Any suggestions should I prepare her fot the possibility her little betta can die? And what fish store do you own?

Well it can live like that for some time but it will be very uncomfortable like that and may not be able to eat properly............We own an R/C car hobbie store and I have tanks set up in there. Click on the link under my signature it will take you to our website and directions.
