| guppies dont cannabalize their young much if at all if they are well fed. and cherry barbs arent too predatory if well fed either. heck i have lotsa molly and guppy fry survive in my dwarf cichlid tank, but i provided lotsa cover and food. they might not be so lucky in a 5g | |

ok i keep many cichlids but I have no success with guppies. I had 3 males and 6 females in a planted ten gallon and all but one male and one female left. Is there a suggested m/f ratio. | |

| Sorry Kasshan but I have stood right there and watched females give birth and turn right around and eat the baby that just fell out of her. Guppies will eat there babies if they don't have anyplace to hide. | |
