First topic message reminder :

Hello, my name is Art and I'm from Southern Ontario, Canada
I have been keeping African cichlids(Malawi) for over 8 years now started with 75 gal.
and after short period of time my cichlids started breeding like crazy, so right now I have two show tanks (1 Malawi, &1 Tanganyika) and 5 grow out tanks.
Three years ago I bought 10 Frontosa Moba F1 juvies, and love the fronts ever since.
I lost few over the years, one got ill and two committed suicide by jumping out of the tank. (who new fronts could jump that high (over the canopy)
Now they are all in 135 gal. show tank, with glass top covers and all beautiful and healthy looking,
until its time to move them yet again to a bigger tank.
Recently I bought two more wild caught to add to the mix and hope to breed them in the near future.
Also always looking for more Moba's in my area but not easy to find.
Anyways, I am looking forward to finding more info on the above topics and shearing thoughts.
Cheers
Art

The tidewater chapter has a meeting in a few weeks that would be a great chance to meet the fish fanatics in the area. Welcome to the site and hope to see you there.

Hello, I go by Koolaid68. I am very new to this site but not to having fish. I live in Hampton, Va. I have been into fish for about 20 years. But the last 5 years i have been into African Cichlids, and I love them. I have a 75 gal. tank with Parrots, Frontosa, Yellow Lab, Moorii, Red Zebras, Electric Blues, Peacocks, Jack Dempsey, Fire Mouth, Gold Severum, Texas Cichlid, and 2 Compressiceps. Now I am ready to upgrade between 185-220 gal. tank. I cant wait to chat and get to know and learn more about my favorite hobby.

Are you Ron Anderson?
