| I have this in my profile, but here are my fishies: 2 Rummy Nose/ 3 Redeye/ 3 Fancy Tailed Guppy/ 1 Peasized Puffer/ 1 Gold Dojo/ 2 Gold Mystery Snails/ 2 Mystery Snails/ 35-40 Gallon Hexagon tank!! But I love my Puffer! *and Snails!!!* I have only had fishtanks for the last 14 months! But I have quite the stories in such a small amount of time! Going from a quarter size tank to a 1/2gal tank to a 1.5gal tank to a 5 gal tank in just the first 3 months. The first fish was a 18 dollar goldfish that I got at a carnival... I do not rock at ring tosses and other physically extreme sports. They gave me the fish because they felt sorry for me... ~.~* Got 2 black mystery snails that died after about a month and 3 neon tetra that WOULDN'T STOP FIGHTING AND RIPPING EACHOTHER APART! That's when I started listening to Tetra care and realized that there should only be 1 scout fish... Bob died as well as Jim *the next gold fish* and then our Pleco died after only a few weeks of having him... we had two fancy gold fish that the Pleco was terrorizing so bad that they wouldn't swim anywhere but the top corner of their tank so when they found out the pleco was dead they were very happy to be running around. We then got the snails *that's when we got them to eat algae but to no avail* By then we had them all in 5 gallon tank and bought 3 rummy nose and 3 round eye tetra... they were doing fine till we noticed when we got them home that one of the rummy nose had a broken jaw! After the snails died we got the Gold Mystery Snails and we quickly realized they were more intelligent than the black mystery snails because when the black mystery snails were floating around the tank they would be floating for DAYS! because they couldn't figure out how to get down/landed... whereas the gold mystery snails would release air bubbles from their shell and it would lower them safely to the ground so they could continue sliming around and eating stuff.... Broken Jaw lived for 4 months with a broken jaw, still eatin his food and being a trooper *sort of a favorite to me* until we moved to the new house and put them in a 35-40 gallon tank... and he was the first to succumb to the tank. During the move my snails laid eggs that then became 500+ snails that were dwarfing my 5gallon tank to look like it was a small glass of water... I moved about 10 of the snails into the larger tank and started giving away as many snails as I could :D To cut a long story shorter than a long story we started getting the random fish after that and a few crazy stories as well... | |
