| Has anyone ever listed on Craigslist? On there is there anyway to run ads for the whole country or is it just strictly local? I'm so fed up with Ebay so I'm looking for someplace else to sell. | |

| Only can post local but if your buyer has CL helper for firefox, they can check as large and area as they want. | |

| They do not want mass spamming so you can only post 1 at a time. | |

| WHAT? One at a time? So if I wanted to list Bettas and guppies I couldn't list them both at the same time? Well that sucks! | |

| You can list them together on the same page.
if you want to list the same add in other cities then you need to do it one by one and if the post are identical they will tell you it's not alloud.

| You can post as much as you want in one post and up to 4 pictures. If you try to post in another section CL will tell you that the ad is too similar to one another. This just prevents you from posting in every section on CL (spamming).
Community forums on CL are sperate from the main ones I believe so I think what you could do is put one in community "pets section" and one on the main sections but the main "for sale" section does not have a pets area.
Like I said though if people use CL helper with firefox they can see many areas at once. Not everyone uses it though but it has been catching on since CL is so big.
Also depending on where you live you may be flagged and have the post removed for trying to sell animals. It is best to just ask for a small rehoming fee. Some people go nuts over any animals for sale and will flag the post. You can however, rehome and animal for a small fee (covering cost of food, care, shot ect.) in most cases people could care less about those who are selling fish and are more after the back yard dog/cat breeders.

| Just have to learn the in and out of CL. The rules say that selling animals is a no-no BUT you can rehome them. Now in some areas no one cares and people just put for sale ads up. In my area if you post a pet for sale it gets flagged.
So CL allows for a rehome fee to apply. That is what everyone does here. Now sometimes the fee is outragous but generally speaking in the case of fish the rehoming fee would be what you would normally charge anyways.
Pets are generally posted in the community forum under pets. People love pictures so be sure to add them and be prepared for a bunch of dumb emails haha. Have to sort through some of the BS on there and people looking for freebies.

| No point is posting shipping since it will only be local people looking at it. If someone from out of town really wants the fish that bad they will contact you. | |

| Good luck there are people who flag just to piss people off. I have posted random things for sale like guitars ,odds and ends and got flagged for no reason. I don't think they have moderators that view the post. Think about it, if I had something like bettas for sale and so did you I could flag your post and I would have a better chance at selling since your ad is gone. I wouldn't do this but there are many other idiots out there that will. | |

| It takes more then one flag to remove a post. I think the number is actually 15 or something. Most flagging is just people being internet trolls but sometimes people feel something is in the wrong section. Who knows lol. | |

| Well that's easy to click the back button and flag it 15 times. You don't have to be logged in to flag. Lol. | |

It is IP logged. It has to be enough unique address's to get enough flags to remove a post. Now that does not mean that those dedicated trolls don't spoof IP's and proxies. There is also other ways of doing it that make it much easier but we won't go into that. In our area there is just a ton of nut jobs. In some cases their are groups that actively flag posts. That is why you can post something and it can be flagged in minutes.

| I have guppies listed on aquabid right now but there is loads of competition there. They do sell better on Ebay but I am disgusted with them and all there new ruling there. Now when something sells you have to wait 21 days or for the stupid buyer to leave you feedback after they receive the item. I just went through four days trying to get one guy to leave feedback for me so PayPal would give me my money. Only the high volume seller get there money right away. I don't know about anyone else but when I sell something I need the money right away not in 21 days. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!! | |

| I use craigslist EVERYDAY!!!! And i think everyone should.. It's so great.. I sell the kid's toys and bikes when they grow out of them. Furniture when we buy new better stuff.. ALWAYS get it sold next day or within a week... I currently have 10 things going right now as i just cleaned out the garage. People always want cheap stuff. You can post as many things as you want but the same posting you can post twice.. once is enough.. or if you REALLY want it goes ASAP, change up the wording of the post and try again, but it annoys people and they will flag it and it will get deleted.. | |
