My new additions

Here is Poseidon, my long fin Oscar. I love this fish!! Had him/her not even a week and already s/he knows the net means food and will wait at the top of the tank for other food I hive him/her. (Anyone know how to tell the sex of an Oscar? I would like to know if Poseidon is an appropriate name for this one)



And Kraken my Crawfish (not in the same tank!). Not sure what type s/he is. I'm going to assume its a very common type as it only cost me $1.10.

Nice just recently I saw my first blue oscar was very cool. I like yours ands sadly I have no idea how to sex them since I have never kept them good luck tho and love the name.

Oooooh, a blue one!! That would be pretty!!! I have only ever seen albino and Tigers. I never knew there was a long fin variety until I went to a cichlid store I found.

ETA: I googled blue oscars, and it seems the blue ones are dyed blue. I take back my previous comment. NOT PRETTY!!!!

I prefer my fish natural.
