so i set up my 2nd tank 2weeks ago as a bare bottom with a few hideaways, rocks, cut black pvc pipe, and a sponge filter. my 8 crays are doing well and molting frequently. under 1in when i 1st got em, now some are over 2in in just 2weeks. i feed them my culled fish (mollies) and i always see the mollies with scars from a few close calls and one or two fish disappear once in a while. i also discovered that the crays love malaysian trumpet snails; they gnaw on them like crazy. i just cant wait until the crays are reproductively mature and i can feed the nymph crays to my main tank. cheaper than cherry shrimp.
