Anybody have an FX5?

Hoping I can get someone on here who has an Fluval FX5 like I do. I've never had a problem with mine until just recently... Whenever I turn it on it runs for a few minutes then it's like it shuts itself off, and there is no water flow? Anybody else experience this or know how to fix it?

The FX5 has a built in 2 minute shut down.
It also has a 24 hour shutdown time for roughly two minutes as well.

It should run for two minutes then stop for roughly two minutes to allow air to escape then restart and do this once every 24 hours.

If it will not restart listen carefully to the motor(should hear a hum) if you hear it click back on after that 2 minute air flush period but it is not pushing water the impeller could be worn or there could be some solid debris in the little impeller inlet area.

If the motor does not turn back on it is likely the control board on the motor.
