So, the babies we have in a separate tank are about 2 months old, I would guess. They are still pretty small tho. How big should they be before I start finding homes for them?

I have a few that are pretty big (compared to the rest), but I wonder if they are still too small. I think the biggest is about a half inch to 3/4 inch. (Im not real good at estimating size, tho. So I could be off)

I agree somewhere around 1/2 inch to 1 inch as long as the body looks developed enough so they can live on their own in a tank with other fish and not turn into food!!

Sorry, they are platies.

So, maybe I should wait a few more weeks? Im afraid they can still be eaten by other fish. I might just be paranoid, tho, lol.
