Sad day today.

We had to say goodbye to our 10 yr old cat today. I found her under my daughter's bed (her normal hiding spot) and she couldnt move. She was barely able to twitch her tail. Took her in and the vet confirmed that she was dying. We dont know why. Just 2 days ago, she was begging me for a piece of my chicken like always. Now...shes gone.

She was hubby's cat, so he is really hurt by her passing. I still have to tell my 2 oldest when they get home from school. My daughter knew we were taking Sasha to the vet, so I am expecting her to come home asking if the vet made her all better.

I told hubby that it figures Sasha would go today. Its hubby and my 9th anniversary. She always did everything in her power to annoy me, and what better way to annoy me than to die on what is supposed to be a happy day?

Im going to miss her announcing her arrival into the room. Every time she would walk into a room, she would meow really loud to let us know she has arrived, lol.

so sorry ots hard to lose a friend and a loved one i lost my dog (child) after 11 yrs a while back and cried for months still miss her i now have a 2 yr old boy (dog) who picked us up at the pound one day and i hope u have as much luck

Oh dear so sorry to hear of your loose. I know how hard it is when you go through mourning of a beloved pet.

Sorry for your loss. I feel your pain, I'm getting ready to put my wifes 16 yr old Min Pin down. He's starting to suffer and I can't allow that to happen. I know it has to be done just trying to find right time and courage.
