| I have a bunch a lil tiny baby brichardis I need to get out of my tank. I am trying not to disrupt everything (form, right?). Do you think I can get em by siphoning? I chased about half back in shells & snagged em, but there are still quite a few. Dont wanna upset momma to much, but the bigger ones are going forth & they are hard enough to catch anyways. | Well if its a "form" tank, ya ain't goin to get em all without disrupting the tank.
And if ya don't wanna disrupt it again in the near future, ya better get either the male or female or both outta the tank.
Ya might, if ya real patient, catch em in the shells a few at a time here and there.
Good luck!

| Well I managed to move my corys early on with a turkey baster. If they are that small you may want to think about getting a cheap clear one and using it. Yes you can siphon fry but just use the hose part and not the larger gravel vac part yank that piece off to use it. But you do want to move the parents to an easily 'disrupted' tank. I find terra cotta flower pots and PVC easier to move then real decor. |

| They are hip to the shell game. The turkey baster idea may work. Thanks both of you... | |

| I hope it works out well. Just buy a new one to use don't use a old one because something may be on it that could hurt the fry. I recommend one with a clear tube and the largest smooth opening you can find. Plus they are handy for quick bottom cleaning in tanks. |
