| a large piece of zucchini or cucumber with a spoon pushed into it to keep it weighted down. place it near his hiding spot, you'll see him grazing on it. | |

| don't leave it in the tank overnight, it will spoil and ruin your water quality.
only offer when the lights are on, or he'll wait till they're off to feed.

| Most Plecos are creatures of the dark and shadows . That being said , I agree with Cohazard on the Zucchini except I rubber band it to a rock . Most of the time you will see it come out to graze . But , sometimes not ! I have a Gold Nugget that I hardly ever see. Good Luck ,,, Ray | |

| He's being normal. He doesn't want to be bothered by the lights and just doing what is natural for them.
If you want to view him out and about, I would recommend a blue actinic light.

| Guess they aptly named the Blue Phantom.
My pleco hides too. The one I had as a kid was always on the side of the tank, but not this one. He even took over the Rainbow shark's hidey hole. Gonna buy another hisey hole thing in a few days.
